About The Job
The Runner plays a key role in supporting daily cargo operations by assisting with the unpacking and processing of all customer packages delivered to the assigned location. This includes ensuring that all packages are accurately received, verified, and entered into the system in a timely manner.
The Runner is also responsible for the secure handling and delivery of documents, packages, and inter-office correspondence to the appropriate individuals within the organization.
This position is critical in minimizing customer wait times and ensuring efficient package retrieval from the storage area. As part of a customer-focused team, the Runner is expected to provide courteous assistance and accurate information to customers while supporting a seamless service experience.
The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who is professional, patient, and detail-oriented. They must be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, maintain a high level of accuracy, and demonstrate a commitment to delivering timely and reliable service with a focus on customer satisfaction.
Job Duties

Ensure a high level of customer service is provided to all internal and external customers at all times, to deliver 100% satisfaction.

Answer questions from customers about our services and products (e.g., billing, account opening process, auctioned products and customer service policies).

Receiving, scanning and packing of all newly received packages.

Reconciliation of all packages upon delivery of goods.

Responsible for collecting and systematically sorting and packing cargo in-store, in accordance with established procedures.

Accurately and expediently collect and process all payments received for products and services from customers.

Ensure that all cargo is handled in a safe and professional manner.

Perform daily inventory counts.

Maintenance of storeroom with a focus on ensuring it is always neatly and systematically organized, in accordance with the company's stand operating procedure, to ensure packages can be easily identified and disbursed to customers.
Provide administrative support to team members and store supervisor/manager when needed.
Job Requirements

Proven customer service experience (at least 1 year)

Ability to lift up to 50lbs without strain.

Able to provide a high level of customer service to all internal and external customers at all times.

Well spoken, with an outgoing and friendly personality.

Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and organize time effectively.

Ability to assist with the clearing, sorting and packing of cargo in store

Flexible with the ability to work on weekends.

Ability to provide accurate, valid and comprehensive information to customers, by applying the right knowledge

Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to follow up on resolutions

Ensure cargo workflow procedures are followed with maximum efficiency

Perform inventory counts as needed

Ability to maintain high levels of productivity and focus in a fast-paced environment

Disciplined and focused worker.
CXC passes in Mathematics and English.
